Bilbao BBK Live closes its 2019 edition with more than 112,000 attendees
The Bilbao BBK Live festival becomes as one of the biggest music festivals in Europe
Bilbao BBK Live bids farewell to its fourteenth edition with the most contemporary poster in its history, in which artists as The Strokes have shone, in their only performance in our country, signing one of the most forceful live shows of the festival, Rosalia, the Spanish Beyonce, gave a show that matches its musical quality, Liam Gallagher, indispensable figure of music, Thom Yorke, with his very personal solo project, Brockhampton, a rap group in full swing, or Vetusta Morla, with a dedicated audience that sang their hits.
In addition, highlight the performances this Saturday night, which has gathered 37,000 people who have enjoyed the concert of Weezer, reviewing his discography in the only opportunity to see them in Spain, The Good, The Bad & The Queen, with Damon Albarn attacking the news of Brexit in its tracks oVince Staples, one of the main voices of hip hop at this moment, closing the 14th edition of the festival with Hot Chip and 2manydjs as responsible for bringing the party to its peak.
The organization wants to thank the public for their collaboration in keeping Kobetamendi clean and green by making use of the sustainable measures that the festival has put at their disposal: the selective collection of waste, the use of reusable cups and the cashless payment system that avoids the making of festival currency. In this sense, this year the commitment of the festival has gone much further with the capsule collection of garments made with fibers made with plastic collected at sea, in collaboration with BIAAF and that has been very well received by the public.
