Sustainability and Latin American fashion meet in Uruguay

The MOLA Latin American sustainable fashion international hub has announced its next action.

MOLA Universe has visited different Latin American and European countries, they have been invited to important meetings where, as they say (because it is led by women), they represent Latin America and all its heritage; they have worked with boys and girls on issues of social inclusion, migration and sustainability thanks to their MOLITAS program; They have created a constant of communication through their blog and today they have more than 35 representatives in more than 13 countries in Latin America and Europe.

Thus, the first appointment is the Week of Latin American Fashion – Regional Montevideo, from Wednesday 20 to Friday 22 March in the Uruguayan capital, where the focus will be on raising awareness about the current situation of the textile and fashion industry in Latin America and in the management, purpose and integral training of sustainable fashion ventures in all the links of the value chain.

The meeting will feature speakers and lecturers from different countries in Latin America and Europe, highlighting the presence of Guillem Ferrer, Spanish designer and environmental activist who leads the organization Poc a Poc based on spirituality, design and environmental awareness.
It is worth highlighting the conference that will take place on Thursday, March 21 at 7:00 pm at the Cultural Center of Spain where MOLA’s directors, Valentina Suárez and Doris Helena Rojas will exhibit on the hub and sustainable fashion in Latin America and Adi Maoz, Leader of the Postgraduate Program of the Istituto Marangoni in Paris will be talking about Future Thinking – Best Fashion Business Practices (talk in English).
