An exhibtion in Paris will examine the influence of the king of pop in contemporary art
Its inauguration is almost a year away but Michael Jackson, icône de l’art, is already one of the most highly
anticipated exhibitions of the year and a guaranteed success. It will open next November 2018 at the Parisian Grand Palais and will pay homage to the King of pop in the tenth anniversary of his death. Through the work of great artists
like Andy Warhol, David LaChapelle or Isa Genzken, the exhibition examines the legacy of the American Singer beyond music and how he influenced pop culture and contemporary art. Fashion, video and dance were a fundamental part of his success and the exhibition will delve into all of these, delighting die-hard fans and general audiences alike. Long live the king of pop!
