Fair Saturday
Fair Saturday is a global cultural movement that takes place every last Saturday of November, the day after Black Friday.
This Saturday a new edition of Fair Saturday will take place in Bilbao, a day dedicated to art and culture, with open organization and participation events. Moreover, all the events support a social cause, donating part of its generated value to their chosen ONG. As they explain on their website, Fair Saturday pretend to “provoke the biggest cultural mobilisation with a social impact in the world” 8 cities will be the home Fair Saturday this year: besides Bilbao, Huelva, Santander, Malaga and Caceres, in Spain, as well as Lima (Peru), Mesagne (Italy) and Pisa (Italy).
There will be a wide ranging of cultural offers in Bilbao for everyone’s tastes. The Bilbao Arena will host the inaugural event, the dance show “Zorba the greek”, with Igor Yebra. Other landmarks of the city like the Guggenheim Museum, the Maritim Museum ad the Iberdrola Tower will also host varied shows, and all around the city we will find concerts, workshops and performances of all kind.
