This dynamic course is delivered by the consultant and business owner Toby Meadows, who developed the course to support fashion entrepreneurs in their journey to becoming fashion business owners. This starting a fashion label short course will answer all your questions and give you a clear idea of what you need to be thinking about, and the preparation and planning involved in making your business successful.

Dates: November 17, 18 and 19

Target audience: Students, graduates and professionals in the fields of Fashion Design and Dressmaking, Design and Fine Art, as well as all those interested in learning or improving their knowledges to launch their own fashion business idea.

Requirements: To fully benefit from this course you should have experience of the fashion industry and you should come to the course prepared to discuss your potential business idea.

Registration: Registration will be open from the day the course is announced until (and including) October 27. Those wishing to participate must complete the online registration form. Candidates are required to submit the following documentation in English: a motivation letter explaining why they are interested in the course and their connections with the subject area, and a curriculum vitae specifying their education and experience in the field of fashion.

Where: Cristobal Balenciaga Museum

Number of participants: A maximum number of 20 participants will be admitted, and places will be allocated in strict order of registration.

Materials: In order to fully participate in the practical exercises please bring a notebook and a pen to the first class. Having a laptop or similar would be also preferred.

Language: The course will be taught in English.

Price: 225 € (until September 30) and 250 € (until October 31). The price includes a copy of Toby Meadow’s book ’How to Set up & Run a Fashion Label’.

A certificate of completion upon successfully finishing the course will be providing by London College of Fashion.
