GETXOPHOTO 2016
GETXOPHOTO is a festival dedicated to visual arts which takes place in Getxo - Basque Country- from 1st September to 2nd October.
The images are mainly shown outdoors, in Algorta. Go for a walk and discover the installations in facades, streets or gardens. You can easily watch the festival in about 3 hours. There are some guided visits too, where you can sign in. We recommend you to start your visit from the GETXOPHOTO Info desk (in Amezti 4, Algorta), where you will receive all the information and materials needed for your visit.

RECYCLING GETXOPHOTO
Reuse and transformation are the guiding watchwords for the recycling of the photographs after they have been exhibited. Parts of well-known authors’ photographs are transformed into original and unique pieces.
The meticulous manufacturing process is the responsibility of recycling and job placement companies, in this case Liburki, from Bilbao. And, as always, the profits go to the Getxo Pro-Sahara Association, Atfal. Available at the online shop and the info point of GETXOPHOTO during September (Torrene 3).
