DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK

 

Mount explores a conceptual route away from the commercial tracks of fashion design. In Mount elements of dissection or still-life interact effectively with the purity of the white, creating a relationship influenced by the esthetics and the behavior of the insects.

INSPIRATION

 

Mount is inspired by the entomology, the scientific study of the insects, and the curiosity cabinets, places where strange objects were collected from different nature kingdoms.

MATERIALS USED

The bodies were made with wool. For constructing the loom I used different types of wool, raffia, threads and bows. Also it was used some linen and organza.
