120,000 people in one of the most special editions of BBK Live
Not even the rain could with the most loyal fans of Florence & The Machine, XX or Gorillaz. The BBK Live imposes one more year as the musical meeting of reference.
Every year the same ritual is repeated, a forced pilgrimage to Kobetamendi where the followers of the bands are mixed with those who want to enjoy a good weekend plan and to play some of the songs in the main stages. We are also the ones who got lost by BASOA and there we stayed for three days (and three nights).
The first night, Florence & The Machine triumphed on stage with its great hits like “Shake it out”. 40,000 people danced, sang and vibrated with their songs.
After the explosion of Florence & The Machine we returned on Friday thinking that everything was already seen. We were mistaken because we discovered the Euskaltel stand with lot of experiences and activities. The Basque company has turned this edition with the aim of boosting the festival and during the three days they organized contests – karaoke and extravangent performances included – and played the best music.
The highlights of Friday and Saturday were the incredible The XX that with Intro transported us to aftermovies known by all, Benjamin Clementine monopolized all the cheers of the audience or Gorillaz that with their cartoons.
BIAAF and BBK Live 2019
As we announced on June 13 during the closing gala of the VI edition of our international design competition, BIAAF will collaborate with the BBK Live 2019 in a unique project for the promotion and visibility of young designers from the Basque Country during the next edition of the festival.
