7 keys to understand the new exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum
Jenny Holzer’s exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum is a special invitation to think about materials, lights and the relevance of both in Arts.
1. The use of the text
We all know the endless cascades of letters that are located in the atrium of the Guggenheim. The artist has been awarded the Golden Lion of the Venice Biennale in 1990, with the Crystal Prize of the World Economic Forum in 1996 and with the International Medal of Arts of the US Department of State. UU in 2017. In addition, she has been named honorary doctor by Williams College, the Rhode Island School of Design, The New School and Smith College. Holzer lives and works in New York.
