BIAAF International Jury has chosen the 6th Edition winners.
BIAAF’s international Jury, chaired by Sara Sozzani Maino has chosen the winners of our 6th edition.
The sixth edition of its international fashion design competition, BIAAF (Bilbao International Art & Fashion) has broken all possible records and has become a European reference for emerging design with 1.673 entries from 90 countries. All of them have presented creations inspired by the art world.
Among the aspiring winners – € 25,000 in prizes – , students from the best schools worldwide: Central Saint Martins, Parsons, London College of Fashion, Shenkar, Fashion Institute of Technology, Polimoda or Istituto Marangoni.

Category B: (design of accessories): Jimmy Junichi Sugiura
Special category: (best Basque designer): Eneko Iturbe
The jury chaired by Sara Sozzani Maino – Deputy Editor-in-Chief at Vogue Italia and Director of Vogue Talents has highlighted the creativity, innovation and talent of all the proposals presented. In this decision they accompanied Diane Becker, Director of Educational Projects for the Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana Conciata al Vegetale responsible for the prestigious Craft the Leather programs; Elisa Palomino, BA Fashion Print Pathway at Central Saint Martins London. Gabriel Azkoitia, Project Manager at INEDI Design School and UPV / EHU fashion design title, Garbiñe Urdampilleta, J + G Fashion Designer, Gerdi Esch, journalist and co-founder of Flanders Fashion Institute, Lisa Montague, CEO of Aspinal of London, Sara Kozlowski, Director of Education and Professional Development at CFDA, Javier Barroeta, Haute Couture Fashion Designer, Javier de Juana, Master Tailor and Fashion Designer, Juana Ruiz, Fashion Designer at J + G, Charo de Miguel, Fashion Designer , Miriam Ocáriz, Fashion Designer and Miren Vives, Director of Cristobal Balenciaga Museoa, Getaria.
