Google celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the Guggenheim Museum
Google Arts and Culture pays homage to the museum with a mind-blowing short film.
The 20th anniversary of the Guggenheim Museum of Bilbao has brought many special events during 2017 to the city, all of them celebrating such an important milestone. After shows like the recent Reflektions, now the museum has partnered with Google to offer a new special as part of the Google Arts and Culture Project.
Thanks to this collaboration we can now discover new details of the museum that transformed Bilbao, from its construction to its most important masterpieces. Moreover, with the help of Google Street View we can now go for a walk trough the hallways of the museum without leaving out home.
However, the crown jewel of this new Project is the film “Bending Gravity”. Produced by Stink Studios, the short film follows urban photographer Trashhand and free runner Johan Tonnoir exploring the emblematic building, depicting it as it’s never been before.
