MOMAD Forum: new digital technologies

The MOMAD Forum is committed to training in new digital technologies in the 4th edition of MOMAD Metropolis.

The fourth edition of MOMAD Metrópolis, the International Fashion Show, organized by IFEMA, to be held from 1 to 3 September next in IFEMA-Feria de Madrid, will parallel the commercial activity with a new edition of the MOMAD Forum.

It will develop a complete program of training actions, focused on meeting the needs of buyers in a technological environment that advances at high speed, as well as presentations and discussion tables, where will analyze fashion trends for the new season, strategies Digital marketing, new methods of payment or what steps lead to a company in the textile-clothing sector is sustainable. As the heart of the event, Forum MOMAD will be located in the connecting nucleus of pavilions 12-14 of Feria Madrid.

The MOMAD Forum will open on Friday, September 1 with the presentation of a monographic dossier on Portugal and its link with the Spanish fashion industry. Pilar Riaño, director of Modaes.es and Luis Moura, director of AICEP (Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade of Portugal), will discuss the content of the document that analyzes the main logistics and productive centers of Portugal, economic relations between both countries and The reciprocal importance in terms of foreign business, among other aspects. Then Andrés España of the company 3DIDS will highlight the importance of following a clear strategy to achieve a goal, with your paper Sell or not to sell: that is the question.

Sustainable Fashion is very present in this edition of the Forum MOMAD. In addition to the half-hour workshops that will be held throughout the fair at the Slow Fashion Next Stand, the activities of the MOMAD Forum on the morning of Saturday, September 2 will be dedicated to Sustainable Fashion. With the title Slow Fashion: diversity of brands and creativity to attract the consumer, companies La Higuera de Grazalema and Suela will talk about the added value of products that combine creativity, traceability and good work. How to turn a traditional fashion company into a sustainable one is the descriptive name of the next table which will be attended by representatives of the sustainable fashion associations of Andalusia, Barcelona, ​​Extremadura, Madrid and Murcia.

The fourth edition of MOMAD Metropolis will also feature three exhibitions featuring future talents. In hall 12 the design prototypes of the students of the CSDMM (Center of Design of Fashion of Madrid) and the exhibition of ESNE (University School of Design, Innovation and Technology) will be able to be used. Hall 14 will host the exhibition prepared by the Seville Fashion School on the occasion of the 1900 anniversary of the death of Emperor Trajan and the rise of Hadrian, composed of 10 representative costumes of the time. Similarly, Hall 12 will host the Jacket Design Contest, organized by the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in collaboration with The Extreme Collection.

On the other hand, the MOMAD catwalk, located in the Summer Terrace will host the presentation of collections of 45 brands, in the 10 programmed parades. As in previous editions, this call for MOMAD Metropolis will once again award the Best Stand Decoration Award.
