Movistar Barcelona Fashion Film Festival
The first fashion film festival of Barcelona bets on emerging talents
Fashion films have become a trend. Some days
ago we talked about ASVOFF and the Fashion and Films showings at the Guggenheim
Museum in Bilbao, but today we bring a new event, the Movistar Barcelona
Fashion Film Festival. It’s the first competitive festival of this genre in Barcelona,
but also an interesting project of young entrepreneurship. The idea of creating
the festival was born as the Final Degree Projects of three Audiovisual
Communication students, who aimed to unite their passion for cinema, fashion
and advertising.
The festival will take place next October 5th at the Museu del Disseny of Barcelona. However, the inscription period of the
contest ends on July 7th. In its pursuit to support new talents, the festival distinguish
between normal categories and others specially intended for emerging talent.
The jury is made up of professional from different areas of cinema, fashion,
journalism…
