Sustainable Fashion guru, Carry Somers, for the first time in Bilbao
16th November, it will be her first visit to Euskadi, in an event organized by BIAAF in collaboration with British Council.
On Thursday 16th November, Carry Somers – founder of Fashion Revolution, the most important sustainable fashion movement internationally – will give a conference on sustainability and transparency in fashion at Azkuna Zentroa. During her speech, Somers will review the major challenges that fashion industry has to face such as high levels of pollution, lack transparency or the need to ensure decent jobs.
In addition, the Sustainable Fashion Program promoted by the British Council will be presented, an ambitious three-year program to encourage the exchange of best practices among fashion designers in Europe through the training, creation and exhibition of designs characterized by excellence.
This activity in the framework of the DWeek 2017 is organized by BIAAF (Bilbao International Art & Fashion) in collaboration with British Council.
