The University of Navarra signs an agreement with BIAAF
The School of Architecture and the basque platform BIAAF consolidate their collaboration to promote training and education in the Fashion Design sector
The School of Architecture of the University of Navarra and Bilbao International Art & Fashion (BIAAF), two entities linked to the world of Design, have signed a collaboration agreement to promote teaching and research projects in the Fashion Design sector as well as promote the realization of training programs, and other activities in Bilbao. The agreement has been signed by Miguel A. Alonso del Val, Director of the Academic Center, and María Victoria Cañas, President of BIAAF.
The alliance is established with the aim of joining forces to offer future generations of fashion designers greater knowledge and opportunities in the field of this profession as well as promoting training activities in the city of Bilbao.
Fashion Design in Bilbao
Bilbao International Art & Fashion (BIAAF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to discover, support and launch emerging fashion designers from around the world. Its main objective is to give international visibility to new designers, both within the fashion industry and the general public.
The School of Architecture of the University of Navarra, which has taught a Degree in Design for four years, including the Mention in Fashion Design, opened its headquarters in Bilbao a few months ago. The university center will collaborate giving academic support in the courses, seminars and training days that are organized as well as with the exchange of professors, experts and professionals of the sector.
