DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK

 

My collection of accessories deals with the cynical reality we live in, and tries to challenge and rethink the things that already exist in the world.

INSPIRATION

 

Inspired by the Dada movement, Dadaism is an avant-garde artistic-cultural movement founded in Switzerland in 1916, and active until mid-1920s. The Dadaists challenged the art and the conventions of European society at the time. Dada’s cynical and playful language feels relevant to me during these unclear times that we live in.

MATERIALS USED

To try and replicate the cynicism and illusion of a ready-made product, I used the original materials of my inspirations. After researching these objects production process I tried to implicate it to my final accessories.
